Description
Dear Traverse Area Community Rowers, May 2023
Thank you so much for the invitation to return to Traverse City in July of 2023!! We missed not visiting TC in 2022 and are excited to have Lake Boardman on the camp tour for 2023. This will be a great opportunity for newer rowers as well as seasoned veterans to get an ‘eye’ on your stroke!
In 2023 we will be on Lake Boardman all day for two great camps. The morning hours we will focus on the sculling group and have spots for up to 10 scullers in various boat classes. Then after lunch the sweep boats come out to play. Up to 16 sweep rowers, one boat per coach, will have fun on the lake. Both groups will be given positive, progressive and systematic coaching on the water and video review will follow each row so your learning continues to see the good and… the part that still needs some work. See the full schedule below.
All questions regarding the coaching and the clinic can be addressed to Mark Wilson at 865-441-0880 or via email at mark@allamericanrowingcamp.com.
All-American Rowing Camp coaches will use on water instruction in conjunction with in-depth off water video analysis of your rowing to help you see not just what you might need to work on but will give you the “how” and the “why” as well. We feel that the most knowledgeable rower is much better equipped to make changes and become the best rower too!
Thank you for your interest.
Mark
