Henley on the Boardman is hosted by TACR on Boardman Lake. The race launch location is at Hull Park in Traverse City. The race starts at around the midpoint of Boardman Lake and boats race “Henley Style,” North, approximately 1k.
Henley Style Racing
Rowers can select from three boat types for races: 8+, 4’s, or 1x and will be asked to choose to race in either the Advanced or Recreational category. Those rowing in 8’s recreationally will row by 6’s. Boat line-ups for 8’s and 4’s will be drawn randomly.
