We will have several volunteer opportunities coming up for area events to help our organization make money to put towards our Dollar for Docks. Please look at your calendars and mark them off to help at the following events if you are able. We will have sign ups available soon for these events:
Bayshore Marathon – May 27th (last year we earned $850 in just a few hours of volunteering in the morning)
Run the Loop race on at Hull Park – Saturday, June 10 – they also want to help showcase our organization within this event. We are also potentially planning our on water learn to row following the race for all our beginner indoor rowers from this winter season.
Cherry Festival Main Stage Concerts – July 1- 8th (last year we earned over $2000 for helping through the week for the concerts)
Traverse City Pit Spitters games – various games/dates – more information to come (we will earn $50 per person per game we volunteer at)
Ironman – September 17th (We can potentially earn up to $1000 for helping with this event)
